Key definitions

End Product

End Product is the final, customized output that incorporates the Licensed Product or its elements into a new and unique creation. This End Product is what you intend to distribute, publish, or present to your audience. Here are a few key points to understand about the End Product:

  • Products purchased from We Design Motion must be transformed or customized to create an End Product. This can involve adding original content such as text, images, videos, audio, or other design elements.
  • The End Product should be a unique creation that uses the Licensed Product or its elements as part of a larger, original work. Simply redistributing the Licensed Products or their elements as-is, with minimal or no modifications, is generally not permitted under the licensing agreements.
  • The End Product could be a video, an animation, a presentation, an advertisement, or any other work where the Licensed Products or their elements are used as components but is not the principal substance of the work.
  • It’s important to ensure that the creation and distribution of the End Product comply with the specific terms of the license associated with the We Design Motion products. This may include restrictions on commercial use, distribution channels, and the number of End Product you can create.
  • Depending on the license, you may be allowed to distribute, broadcast, or sell the End Product. The rights and limitations will vary based on the licensing agreement.

For example, if you purchase a product from We Design Motion to create a promotional video for your business, the edited and finalized promotional video that you distribute to your clients or audience would be considered the End Product.

Licensed Product

Licensed Product is the original product, template or design asset that you acquire a license to use. Here are some key points to understand about a Licensed Product:

  • The Licensed Product is the original motion graphics product created by We Design Motion. It includes the pre-made animations, graphics, transitions, and any other templates provided in the product file.
  • The license specifies the rights you have to use the Licensed Product. This can include the extent to which you can modify the template, how you can incorporate it into your projects, and any limitations on how you can distribute the End Product that incorporates the Licensed Product.
  • Typically, when you purchase or acquire a product from We Design Motion, you are granted a non-exclusive license. This means you have the right to use the Licensed Product according to the license terms, but the same product can be used by others who also purchase a license for it.
  • Most licenses will allow you to modify the Licensed Product to fit your project needs.
  • Generally, you are not allowed to redistribute or resell the Licensed Product in its original form or in a format that competes with the original product. Redistribution rights are reserved for the End Product that incorporates the licensed product as part of a larger, unique creation.
  • The license will detail the scope and limitations of how you can use the Licensed Product. This can include the number of projects you can use it in, geographic restrictions, and whether or not you can use it for commercial purposes.

For example, if you purchase a motion graphics template from We Design Motion, the file you download and the associated assets are the Licensed Product. The license agreement you accept upon purchase will dictate how you can use, modify, and distribute media created using that product.

Lifetime License

A Lifetime License is a type of license that grants the purchaser the right to use the Licensed Product indefinitely, without the need for renewal or additional payments. Here are the key aspects to understand about a Lifetime License:

  • A Lifetime License allows the user to utilize the Licensed Product for an unlimited period.
  • A Lifetime License is acquired through a one-time payment. After this initial purchase, there are no further fees required to maintain the license.
  • A Lifetime License includes access to updates or new versions of the Licensed Product.
  • A Lifetime License will detail how the template can be used. It may include restrictions on redistribution, the number of projects, or geographic limitations, similar to other types of licenses.
  • A Lifetime License is non-transferable, meaning the rights granted cannot be passed or sold to another individual or entity.
  • The license will specify whether it is for a single individual or if it can be used by multiple users within an organization. A single user license would restrict use to one person, whereas a multi-user license could allow a team to use the template.

For example, if you purchase a product from We Design Motion with a Lifetime License, you can use that template indefinitely for any projects you have, without worrying about license expiration or renewal fees. You can create as many end products as desired within the terms specified by the license (e.g., for pro or personal use). However, you cannot transfer the license to another person or resell the template itself.

Freebies

The freebies from We Design Motion (including free packages, templates, elements, demos, and rewards) are provided primarily for personal, non-commercial use. You are welcome to use these freebies in personal projects, such as social media posts, personal websites, and educational assignments.

Limited commercial use may be possible but requires prior contact with us. If you are considering using the freebies for commercial purposes, such as freelance projects, client work, or any revenue-generating ventures, please reach out to discuss licensing options.

Redistribution, reselling, or sharing of We Design Motion freebies in any form, whether original or modified, is not allowed. This includes posting them on other websites, file-sharing platforms, or social media channels. The freebies are intended for your private use only, and any unauthorized distribution or sharing will be considered a breach of this agreement.

You may modify the freebies to suit your personal project needs. However, any resulting work must comply with the non-commercial and non-distribution terms, unless otherwise agreed upon for commercial use following your contact with us.

The freebies must not be used in any content that is illegal, offensive, or defamatory. We reserve the right to take appropriate action, including terminating the license, if these terms are violated.
